Shaynah Jerrell

In this episode, I’m joined by Shaynah Jerrell. Shaynah is the CEO and head coach at the Aquatic Team of Mecklenburg, or ATOM as it’s known. Atom is a year-round swim program located in Charlotte. In our discussion, Shaynah shares ATOM’s passion for creating the right space for kids to be successful, and fostering an environment where champions are inevitable. The organization’s mission extends beyond swimming to include the development of valuable life skills for their athletes, such as responsibility, perseverance, physical fitness, and life-long care for oneself. The result is a foundation for kids to be champions both in and out of the pool.
